Andre would have just beaten him to the punch.

Roy never had issues with technical fighters, who were slower with limited power.

Hopkins, Toney, Hill and McCallum etc.

    Andre is a spoiler.

But Roy’s speed and unorthodox style would have been too much for him.

Andre wasn’t better than Hopkins or Toney.

Ward was cagey enough, that I don't think he gets blown out by Jones. But, that doesn't necessarily mean the fight would be that close. Probably an 8-4 or 9-3 type affair.

Prime RJJr is a physical phenom. Like an Act Of God. Can't buy insurance against it so I pick Roy to win, but Dre is smarter all around so he'll make it competitive or get disqualified.

Although Roy Jones' has a terrible glass chin, one of the worst ever of notable world level fighters. I don't think Ward has the power to do what Tarver done to him. Tarver completely had Jones' number.

But Beterbiev would be a whole different story, he has the power to put Jones ASLEEP. Jones' pathetic little coincidental 'prime frames' excuses from his fanboys would have been adjusted smaller had he ever met a Artur Beterbiev.:D

    Roy would win easily

Not because Ward wasn't a great fighter but because it's just a horrible style for him

Prime Roy Jones does a number on Ward, wins a wide UD something like 118-112. Easy work for RJJ.
