It's a tough choice probably mayweather by decision but it may be an unpopular decision and it would not surprise if kostya managed to win this fight
Maybe. I would say prime Kostya Tszyu is one of the most dangerous fights Floyd could have taken. I think while Floyd has genius defense at that time and at that age he was at he wasn't relying on his genius defense. He very would could have been beaten at that time. It's a very difficult fight which I wish could have happened similar to Floyd vs Edwin Valero.
Sharmba was winning the first fight ,gave Zoo all kinds of problems and have to avert to dirty tactics to win the fight ,Mayweather beats the **** out of him.
Dude, Vince was the very first guy to beat Kostya when Kostya was unbeaten and heavily favored to beat Vince so yes, that was prime Kostya.
If Kostya had not lost to Ricky Hatton three weeks before Mayweather's inaugural PPV fight/spectacular onsided victory over Arturo Gatti, Floyd would've stayed at 140 for one or two more fights just to add the 140lb Ring Magazine belt to his collection of 5-division world titles with an even more sensational performance and win over Kostya and a possible rematch and win over the at that time Ring Magazine 135lb champ and 2005 fight of the year victor Diego Corrales(hot off his 10th round tko over J.Castillo).
tzyu has the style to beat floyd...hes ridiculously underrated in this forum, theres a reason why floyd choose mitchell instead of kostya...
Tszyu would of given Floyd a scare or 2, maybe even drop him during a lull in action or with Floyd being comfortably ahead and getting too comfortable, but I think Floyd would of especially been aware of Tszyu's power. Tszyu did better with fighters coming at him in a straight line. Lateral movers would be a nightmare for him. One mistake by Floyd tho, and it could be over. Tszyu was a great counterpuncher and deadly one too.
He would beat Floyd. Tszyu was never outboxed by anyone, only outslugged. It would look similar to Kovalev vs Hopkins, but a bit more competitive. Floyd struggled with Tszyu's leftovers.
no he doesn't. Floyd has never struggled with a guy like Kostya as long as it's not a version of Floyd that's still a 130/135 pounder moving up to 140
I've heard that before and I still don't buy it. I do, however, believe that he could have fought Harris, Margarito and young, prime Cotto if he really wanted to. These would obviously have been dangerous opponents but at least one of these fights should have been made.
Floyd kicks his ass from r1 and stops Tsuyu by 5. Tsuyu can't deal with that speed, that power, that defense. He cries in there.
