Prime vs Prime. Seems like Tyson would get utterly if not laughably dominated. Any :hi:eek:pinions that I may have overlooked?

    yes

Prime Tyson, sorry, every version of Tyson, was strongest in the first third of his fights, and faded with each passing round

he would of probably won 2, maybe 3 of the first rounds, but would of gotten tired and frustrated as time went on, and would eventually get beaten

Little LHW journeyman Henry Cooper knocked prime Ali senseless, but Prime Tyson can't win a round against him?
Tyson probably knocks the overrated fool out. Prime ****ing Ali, I'm tired of reading those words because I'm fully aware of the ignorant drivel that usual follows them.

Prime Tyson would knock him out in the middle rounds IMO

It all depends how much playing around Ali would do with him, that would determine how many rounds Tyson would win. The think about Tyson is all it takes is one shot and Ali night could be over. So he really couldn't afford to much playing around with him.

Sure, I think Tyson's style should be as effective as Fraziers, no?

Sure he would. Ali figures him out in the mid rds and starts breakin him down tho. In the 1st 5 rds, Tyson would get to Ali and maybe even score a KD. But he won't stop Ali or maintain his momentum enuf to win on points.

But Tyson sure as hell don't do much with prime Ali as Clay.

Yeah even washed up Tyson won his first round against Lewis. His problem was lack of discipline in training. Tyson could not go 15 rounds and Ali would be dancing circles around him by round 11, and would likely end in a stoppage as Tyson would not be able to fight back ie like the holyfield except without being fixed and without tyson being punched in the dick 20 times

Ali would probably stay out of harms way give him maybe the first 2 outta 3 and then start dismantling immediately, Ali was careful and he would think this through and take his time..

Nope, Tyson loses to Foreman due to being so god damned similar and 'made for him' just like Joe. But with Ali, he's suddenly nothing remotely like him and that fight is just totally different.

He really isn't like Joe, but that's ESB's way of rationalizing and sleeping better at night.

To me Tyson (with Rooney) was better than Frazier. I know Joe is no longer with us, but Mike had better defense and just as good a left hook and a much better right hand. I think he would have given Ali problems.
