Would Ray Leonard have easily beaten all Roy Jones`s 160 opponents?

Mate you're using a triangle theory for boxing. It doesn't work.

    Styles make fights.

    Ha!

    This is an absolute cracker.

    Mark's a good kid though.

    Behave.

Roy was not easy to trap on the ropes.

In his later years, he used to voluntarily back onto the ropes in order to gain a breather and to counter punch.

How many times have you seen a peak version of Roy actually forced to the ropes?

    Come on now.

I love Duran. I'm a huge fan. I've read Guidice's biography about 3 times. By all means, rank him above Roy on the ATG list. But he would never have beaten a peak version of Roy. Never.

Barkley was huge physically, but neither fast or technically sound.

Roy had the height, reach, strength, speed, power, as well as the incredible reflexes based off of an unorthadox style.

It would have been hell for Duran.

Hearns was much more powerful than Ray.

How did the Ray-Marvin fight work out?

Yes, Marvin was faded. But so was Ray.

It was Ray's movement that caused Marvin issues. His great speed of hand and foot.

Roy was a bigger version of Ray.

His movement would have caused Marvin huge trouble, as well as the fact you'd have got a 157 pound fighter fighting a guy weighing in as a LHW on fight night.

Like Hearns, Roy also possessed one punch knockout power. But he'd do it unexpectedly with either hand.

Roy would have been a big favourite for me.

Duran was still great at 160. He gave a great account of himself against Hagler. We also saw what he did with Barkley. But Roy would have been a different proposition altogether.
