    Exactly....Cortez is a good ref and did'nt allow Ricky to wrestle....don't like it? watch ****ing wrestling or old tapes of John Ruiz or even old Hatton fights.....****ing pathetic:-(

    If hatton got inside and ****ing punched. The ref would not break **** up. Not one time did the ref break up anything while punches were being thrown. Hatton was trying to wrestle and floyd was wrestling his ass back. So neither are punching.. ITS AGAINST THE ****ING RULES OF BOXING. NO HOLDING ...........NO HOLDING BY EITHER GUY> Floyd held and Hatton held...the ref is supposed to break that **** up. The ref did the same **** in the Castillo fight...LOL..but you dont want to cry about that b/c Hatton got in the left hook...

    Simply put no. I did think the referee was a bit of a joke and I was not overly impressed with his performance as I thought it had a negative effect on the fight but the fact is Floyd was a notch above and Ricky would have been beat no matter who was put in charge.

    Hatton defence is all over the place and against someone like Floyd Mayweather I'm afraid that just simply is not good enough. Ricky's loss was purely down to his ability and thats coming from someone who has forked out 150 quid for a ticket to his next fight.

    I like the guy but no excuses should be made.
