Peak Bowe had a better jab, better power, and in his prime was nowhere as fat.

I see more of a Gonzalez ending.

    Absolutely. Yes and yes.

Ok we'll just put that in to modern context. Wilder and Fury fought each other 3 times, but neither of them fought AJ or Usyk or a few others and it has drastically affected their legacies

Advised only by the person drawing up the contract. High risk with Low pay then I advise not. High risk with even higher pay then I advise yes.

Bowe has more quality on his resume than Lewis.

You said Bowe did the least. Out of Holyfield, Bowe and Tyson it’s actually Lewis that stepped up the least imo.

Lewis beat roughly 4 times more top 10 heavyweights than Bowe that's a pretty massive advantage in resume depth

Sorry but saying Lewis came last behind the other big 3, not quite seeing that.

Holyfield, Bowe, Tyson and Lewis are the best during their time. Taking prime into account who do you think stepped up and challenged the other big 3 the most? It’s obviously Holyfield. Bowe fought prime Holyfield 3 times, Tyson fought close to prime Holyfield and Lewis, Lewis only fought Tyson when he was shot and Holyfield when he was near shot.

A poster said Bowe fought the least of the other heavyweights. But he has two of the best wins ever at heavyweight.

I am not talking about longevity. Bowe had a short prime. Bowe did have a higher peak to his resume.

Yes, but you have previously stated: "Bowe has more quality on his resume than Lewis.".

This is patently not the case.

I have to say, though, that I think Bowe beating the undefeated (way prime) Holyfield was pretty darn impressive.

But yeah, Lennox stacked up more quality wins imo. Definitely.

Name the 3 fights that Lewis had that have more of a quality opponent then the Holyfield that Bowe fought? Lewis had a long career but did not have as good of wins as Bowe did x 2 vs Holyfield. Even Bows loss vs Holyfield I would rank over Lewis win over Vitali.

You're trying to have it every way you can here, claiming:
    - Bowe has the better win.
    - Bowe has more quality on his resume.
    - Bowe loses but the loss is still better than a Lewis win.

And, all of the above are anchored on a single opponent - Holyfield.

I would agree that Bowe has the better single win - but that's it.

On your belief that Bowe has more quality on his resume...

Lewis had 18 contests against top-10 rated opposition - ten of these were against opposition in the top-5, with six of that ten in the top-3.

Bowe had 7 contests against top-10 rated opposition - four of them were against opposition in the top 5 (guess who accounts for three of those four contests and who also accounts for the two of the four contests against a top-3 opponent).

The numbers do the talking here. Lewis' ledger leaves Bowe's in the dust.

I am not going to even address your ranking of a failed championship defense above a successful championship defense. That is just strange.
