I'm still convinced that Rigo overlooked Marroquin and got caught sleeping. Just my opinion but something tells me he'll be tuned in a bit more against Donaire.

I'm not stupid, I have watched boxing since I was 5 years old. So don't ever talk down to me. Donaire can afford to become aggressive because of his great chin and will bring the fight to Rigo, only takes one mistake and Rigo could be finished.

Why would be overlook him, if anything he would have been looking to put a good performance to make himself well known.

I don't know if you remember when rigo fought Cordoba, he was basically schooling him if remember correctly yet Cordoba somehow managed to penetrate his d with one shot on the chin and I think he went down or his glove touced the canvas. If donaire is patient enough he will land it.Rigondeauxs gonna have to bring his a game and keep his guard up at all times.Someone correct me if I'm wrong about the Cordoba fight.

Just rewatched the fight and rigondeauxs knee hit the canvas in round 6.In cordobas defense it wasn't a schooling.

Rigo won but it was competitive. And the first time Cordoba managed to break through he dropped Rigo with a jab.

Of course he looked good against Arce. That was the whole point of the fight - to pay Arce enough money to be served as lamb for a wolf. Chavez Jr looked amazing against Lee. But what happened when Jr faced Sergio? What happened when Rios ran into Abril? Khan looked sensational against Judah then went on to struggle against Peterson. These guys look great against lesser skilled fighters. When they face stiff competition they suddenly experience major difficulties. I could be wrong but I think Rigo will give Donaire hell. Rigo will be as patient as Narvaez but will land more significant shots since his offense is better.

That punch could KO a lightweight
The punch that Ko'd Montiel will probably rip Rigo's head off

    Probably not.

I don't think Nonito will catch him with that shot, though.

Nonito is an explosive puncher, but people tend to overestimate it, he failed to stop Mathebula, Vazquez Jr and Narvaez.

He is not gonna go in reckless against Rigo, he might get caught himself doing that.
