I think you might be onto something here.

But that makes all the difference in the world. I don't give a rat's arse how they were ranked, I only look at the level they reached.
If they were to face each other, Lyle would beat the **** out of Folley.

True but also them fighters you mentioned won alot of big fights aswell, which Lyle failed to do really. Nothing against Lyle I just think he gets a bit overrated.

It's all what ifs though with Lyle rather than actual results, if you want to talk what ifs, then if 2nd round of Foreman/Lyle wasn't a 2 minute round. When Foreman had Lyle in huge trouble, then Foreman may of finished Lyle right there and then. And we wouldn't of got to witness an all out slugfest.

    Can’t argue with that.

...... and how do you determine this?
I agree and have said as much multiple times in this very thread alone.

By looking at their fights. Folley ain't flooring Foreman in a million years.

This is extremely presumptions of you. Lyle rarely beat the **** out of any highly ranked men let alone a high caliber one like Folley. Lyle has a nice resume just as good as Folley arguably slightly better or slightly worse.

I don't care about their resume, I only care about who'd win if they were to face each other. And I'd bet my house on Lyle.

I hope you don’t bet often. In this fight I’d favor Lyle as well. But def wouldn’t bet my house on it. Folley was a good fighter
