Would ex con, Ron Lyle Put David Tua in to a defensive shell?
Would he have Tua crashing into the corner post and lay in to him with impunity?
Or does Big Ron end up crashed out with his nose on the canvas?
For this fight, Ron Lyle who kod Shavers verse

Tua who put Ruiz to sleep.
    Who s the man?

Both are overrated, but to me this is the comparable level. Tua would win this IMO and quite likely stop Lyle during the 2nd half of the fight

Since you have chosen pre prime version of Tua, so I have to pick Lyle.

Prime for prime, I still lean slightly towards Lyle.

Tua was neater and more skilled, Ali was suffering from parkinson`s and still managed to stop an inept Lyle.

So inept that he was ahead at the time of the stoppage. Knocked Shavers out in his next fight and gave Foreman hell in the fight after that.

Regardless of who wins, Tua would be well behind the majority of the fight as usual. If Rahman can solidly outbox Tua for 9 rounds then Lyle, who was better, would make it an entire fight.Tua totally has a punchers chance but I never bet on a punchers chance. I'd favor Tua to get outboxed or maybe outfought over 12.

Lyles stamina and chin will be his downfall here.

Tua wins this in my opinion. Tua's problem is with fast elusive fighters and not with guys that come to him.

To be fair, Lyle never did either and he had a lot more opportunities.

Your right I wont argue that. I do think Lyle is better though. Tua when he cant get to people just seems content to follow then around eating jabs. Completely overrated IMO

Yes he's very overrated imo. I've seen people argue he'd beat Tyson, Frazier, Foreman, etc even though his best win is over a faded Michael Moorer who'd only recently come out of retirement, and when he actually faced someone on the level of the aforementioned men, he was ineffectual, and lost by Lopsided decision.
