No, a fair punching, slower Ruiz is a different fighter than the FAST, Dangerous South paw banger Sanders, you think Tarver flushed Jones, Corrie would have frozen him till todayJones locked up and froze vs Johnson and went down hard vs Taver.... Corrie Sanders would have detatched that peanut head

Totally agree Bummy. Sanders by Death in a couple rounds........if he thinks 175lbers like tarver and johnson were hard punchers, wait till he gets hit by a super southpaw ATG!!!!

Sanders would have taken him out with a golf swing.

Jones couldn't even deal with the southpaw tall guy style of Tarver. Now add in a few inches/add some handspeed/add another 500% punching power. And then picture that Jones defense against that straight as an arrow left hand, & not Tarver's.

My money would of been on Jones, Sanders got slow footmovement, and overrated power and handspeed. Can anyone name one fighter Sanders knocked out that was any good, aside from glass chinned Wlad? I cant, he couldnt even finish off plaster of paris chin Rahman. The guy ****ing lost to Nate Tubbs for christ sake, Jones would of boxed circles around him. Look at how much Vitali made him miss in there match in 04, Jones is miles ahead of Vitali in reflexes and speed.

Jones by late round TKO or UD.

You sound crazier than the Pac-men, the Roy boys and the Floyd nut huggers all rolled up in one.

First two times Roy was dropped was against South Paws.. a big South paw like Sanders would blitz Roy.

if sanders landed on roy, which i think he would because he has very fast one punch handspeed, i think roys career would have been over.

That´s a good question, because Sanders was quite fast and hit like a mule. I think he´d have beaten Vitali if his stamina had been better, although I do think Sanders was a bit lucky to beat Wladimir (no fluke, but I still think he´d have lost that fight 8 times out of 10).

The WBO pulled some of the worst political BS about their hw title during this time. David Tua was #1 and Brewster was #2. Yet they were intent on Brewster being the mandatory and ignored Tua´s demands for a shot, even with his higher ranking and Sanders being willing to face him. Then of course they refused to have the unification with Jones, cause #2 Brewster just had to get his shot.

Don King must have really lobbied hard for Brewster, who had no meaningful wins at the time and losses agains Etienne and Shufford, who were fringe contenders at best.

Sanders would have caught him and knocked him out, eventually. His punches were too quick for Jones to avoid them all night.

when your Chin is as bad as Roy's it only takes one punch to do the job. Glass Jaw Roy gets knocked out cold by the first straight left Sanders lands.
