Yeah, he's not stronger, he doesn't have more punching power, and he doesn't have a better defense or better footwork. He's just bigger, and inferior to Pacquiao in every other department. :nut

    You're a ****ing moron. :deal

Yeah, I'm not interested in this fight anywhere below 154. Floyd's already fighting Cotto there, so the only reason for bringing him down to 150 would be to drain the **** out of him, which would be bull****.

Exactly. If they were to fight at junior middle or higher, that would be the first fight in a while where Floyd is shorter and smaller than his opponent. I think Sergio is around two inches taller and has three more inches of reach than Floyd. Throw in the fact that he is probably physically stronger and almost as fast and it's a real tough challenge. Floyd would still be the technically better fighter, though. He has better defense, coordination and more accuracy on his punches - but there is still a real chance Martinez could hurt him and get him out of there. Unless of course Sergio was weight drained and a mere shell of himself.

Kinda depends on what Pacquiao we see, imo. The best version could certainly give Floyd trouble with his frenetic punch output and his weird angles. If the best version of Pacquiao showed up and Floyd really has lost a bit of spring in his step as he seems to have in his last two fights, that could make for an interesting encounter. I would probably pick Mayweather to win, but I don't think it would be a cake walk at all. It would be great to get to see Mayweather dig deep just once before he retires.

If this fight would be at 154 pounds with a healthy Martinez , Floyd would have problems.

I would rather see a fight between Floyd and Sergio at 154 than a fight between Floyd and Manny !

no he would not. Pacman is great for a reason. I remember when Tommy was going to fight Virgil Hill, someone told me, Virgil outboxed Czyz and Stewart and Lasisi and all these names, and Tommy is old. I said "Tommy is still a great and that means he had a better chance than anyone else since he knows the top level and nothing can match that". And he won. Pacman if he is in the ring with Floyd will make it a fight always. Martinez is good and I love the Williams knockout, but Pacman is proven and a great. Nothing can take the place of that experience.

His size and weight advantages make him more of a threat.

I couldn't pick; if Floyd made Martinez lead, he'd have an easier time counter-punching him than he would with Manny, I think. But the reverse could also happen.

Yes. Not only his size and weight advantage, but he's also a lot smarter and more adaptable than Pac. The only thing Pac has over Sergio is speed, and Floyd would manage that easily.
