This was a trick question.....Frazier was way past his prime in Manila! It is doubtful that he could get a license to fight based on his vision alone!

I think it was an excellent question though in that it makes one consider how much bigger, leaner today's atheletes have become. To really compare era's to be realistic you have to some leveling allowing for size and strength. So before you put Smokin' Joe in a time machine from 1971 allow for some additional size and strength and endurance or Senor
Smoke would lose 5 lbs and the cruiserweight division would become the Frazierweight Division.

Yeah, imagine Wlad's hook on Ali's temple when little 188 pound Henry Cooper could knock him down....

Wlad would never ever underestimate Frazier, like he underestimated Sanders. Sanders was 6'4, southpaw and quick, with a short way for his right hand to travel to Wlad's chin. Frazier would be the shortest opponent of Wlad's career and he had to take two to land one, not a recipe that works against Wlad. Greatness is one thing, stylistic matchup another.

Only way the yankee hypejob would win is if he cheated.

Wlad would for sure get knocked out. Vitali beat the living hell out of Sanders and was easily whooping byrd after he backed out because of his shoulder. I honestly think Frazier would have a hard time with Vitali if both of them were in their primes.

Joe was black and slicker than slick. No way a Klitschko can beat that.
