Would smokin joe have beaten wlad and vitali

It sure as hell is smarter than standing straight up as a stiff! That's a rule of thumb for smaller fighters getting past a taller fighters reach. You use angles, footwork, and bobbing and weaving to get past the reach and not stay within the taller opponents effective range. Both Klits like Lewis do possess a hell of an uppercut, but don't use it constantly as they should. Frazier is no stranger at getting dropped and storming back for the ko or tko. That's what I think would happen vs Wlad. Wlad drops Joe, exhausts himself trying to finish him off, while Joe only grows bolder and starts wearing him down. It's very rare either Klit fights an agressive fighter and when they do they don't do to well. Against Vitali it might be 50-50, but their method of pushing a fighter down has it's risks also because of the way they bring both hands down and if the fighter some how breaks free of the hold, it could be disastrous. I think that method would not work on fighters that had alot of upper body movement like Tyson or Frazier.

 

He bobbed and weaved.

As every other boxer throughout history that bobbed and weaved he would take the fight to Wlad and Vitali and they would fold under the pressure.

Only reason no modern HW have done this is that they never realized it it a possibillity.

 

I hear people say how Smokin Joe would definitely put Wladls lights out because Sanders did it. I agree that if Smokin Joe fought the Wlad that fought Sanders that Wlad wouldn't get out of the first round, but the Wlad of today would **** Sanders up stop him sometime in the mid to later rounds. Regardless of how Wlad would handle Sanders, I think Joe would have a chance if he could get to Wlad early, cuz if he couldn't I think that Wlad would bust him up from the outside and eventually them right hands would catch up to him. Vitali not having the power of Wladimir would probably win but by decision.

Fraziers record in his signature fights is 1-4.........no Ali exile no Joe Frazier champion . Fact.

He was also stopped in three out of the five, two times in total uncompetitive fashion by a relative crude "Big Guy" who himself is small against the two brothers.......

Some you forget that the Brothers can BOX not just slugg..........as much as I respect Joe this is a huge mountain to climb for him, almost a mismatch IMO.

But Frazier fought other guys as big as Foreman. Joe Bugner was taller than George. Ali was not much smaller than Foreman. Size alone was not the reason Joe lost to George; power and style played a huge part!

 

What huge punchers? Niether of the Klitschko's are HUGE punchers in my book. Wlad is a boxer/puncher at best and more Of a Lennox Lewis type. Vitali has the most deceiving KO/win record in history. Vitali only KO's people very late by Ref stoppage after hitting them with every punch for 3 minuets every round. Vitali does not have 1 punch power.

Yes,both Klitschko's would have beaten Joe Frazier,and they both would have done so with relative ease.Frazier has only one effective way of fighting and it would be his undoing against two significantly larger opponents.


Wlad would control him with his long,hard,penetrating jab,and he'd neutralize him in the clinches the very second Frazier did somehow manage to get within punching range.Wlad's caution would see him through this one,and if he really pushed for it like he did against Peter,he'd render the suspect-chinned Frazier unconscious.


Vitali's ability to box off the backfoot,ability to control distance against smaller opposition,heavy hands and impressive workrate and stamina would prove to be the worst possible matchup for Frazier.

 

Due to size and weight, Joe would have a difficult time against either brother.

I think the same.Wlad is in big trouble if he gets caught by anyone.Joe would have caught him,no doubt about that.
Vitali would make a much harder fight cos he takes a shot so much better.Be a decent match up I think.
