Paul Spadafora is the most intelligent fighter Ive ever watched, his career went off the rails but he knew that ring inside and out and knew all the moves, I dont think mayweather faced anyone like him, there is also that sparring session in which spadafora got the better off him which doesnt mean much but when watching it it does give you something to think about

Did Spadafora ever really beat anyone?

Imagine how good Mayweather would've looked with a CV like his. Do I think he could've troubled him at that weight? No.

I know yeah he had a while bit trouble though , he had a really difficult style though were he never looked spectacular but always stayed in with whoever it would have been a different kind of fight with mayweather

you must know spade pretty good for him to let you see the sparring session video. I think if you saw it you would realize they are on 2 completely different levels on two different universes

I don't remember spade gassing, he had a fight like 8/9 days out, at the end Floyd pretty much fell on the floor from exhaustion.

spade only did good in the last 2 rounds or ever last 1.5 rounds. but I haven't seen it in like a decade so I don't remember exactly.

all I know is the spade whooping Floyd was way over blown and pretty much bs. a totally out of shape Floyd did pretty good vs spade who was in fight shape

nah spadaofra did well right the way through better at the start even at times, he was also at the end of his training session while floyd was just coming in so he was tired too

I bet he was tired too , but Floyd was about to pass out. dude hadn't trained in close to a year while spade was in fight shape. that's make a huge difference

He's a solid fighter but nothing over the edge. The fact that a sparring session with Mayweather is his career's highlight and most notable/discussed experience should say enough. In the end, sparring is absolutely nothing serious at all. It's pretty much practice. Some fighters would literally go in to apply certain maneuvers and end up looking terrible in the process. It's designed for that kind of stuff, not as a challenge or test of skill.

yeah he not that great an athlete but he has a lot of ring iq and layers to his game , he done nothing but he had a messed up career because of his outside ring behaviuor. It was a little more than that for the sparring as there was hype building in the gym about them too fighting and a bit of tension between the two they didnt go in to practice stuff or anything it was a serious enough session. Obviusly theres only so much sparring can tell you but it did show and indiction, plus the styles of both guys of just pure boxing
