True, Cunningham has never had probs making cruiser like Haye did. But then again he's a skinny guy who keeps fit all year. Consider though; who would have predicted Adamek would look as good as he does at 215? Certainly Cunningham's frame is better suited for heavy than Adamek's. Boxers bulk up all the time. I suppose Cunningham's best shot at beating Wlad would be out-boxing him and using head and lateral movement to avoid Wlad's shots. Essentially the same game plan Adamek will have against Vitali, but USS wouldn't be hampered with such a height and reach disadvantage. But given that Wlad has mastered his stamina issues, USS would have a tough time surviving the distance.
What about the card that had it 115-112 for Adamek. Even though he scored all those knockdowns. Adamek was getting outboxed the vast majority of the fight. THere should have been and immediate rematch.
"Adamek was getting outboxed the vast majority of the fight. THere should have been and immediate rematch. " It was a good fight and both wanted a rematch. But the money just wasn't there. In fact, Adamek went to heavyweight for the money as he said in several interviews.
he's clearly the best cruiser weight but at heavy he'd get killed, shaky chin and no power. dude is ripped as hell though.
