Would Stiverne beating Wilder be a bigger shock than if Takam had beaten Joshua?

Both are/were massive underdogs but prefight, everyone (including the ref) predicted that Takam would not go the distance, let alone win. Stiverne though has already proven he can take Wilders shot and last the distance so would that mean that should Stiverne win the rematch next Saturday, that wouldn’t be as big a shock than if Takam had beaten Joshua last weekend?

Stiverne has fought once in nearly three years.

    So yes.

This is the correct answer. With Wilder's glass jaw, any halfway decent fighter could potentially beat him. That's why he faces stiffs all the time

Nope. Stiverne is capable of it. He countered Wilder in the last fight a few times and stunned him. He can land one on the button. Wilder isn’t exactly Vitali Klitschko in the chin department as we already know. Nor does he have the skills or defense.

Damm is this finally the chance for Wilder to become famous by getting beaten by an outshaped bum?

Yes it would be a bigger shock. While Wilder isn't as good as Joshua, Stiverne already lost to him comprehensively and has looked awful in the 1 fight he's had since then. Takam at least had been active and operating at a higher level than Stiverne has been facing and had been competitive. Takam would beat Stiverne.

Honestly I think Stiverne is now so old, out of shape and slow that it would be a massive surprise if he even wobbled Wilder. Wilder is once again box on his backfoot and simply avoid getting tagged. This version of Stiverne will be even slower than the one he has already beaten handily.

Stiverne has the blueprint, for the last two years he's been hunched over it every night, memorizing every tiny detail.

Has anybody seen any Stiverne training footage for the Wilder rematch?
