Would Stiverne beating Wilder be a bigger shock than if Takam had beaten Joshua?

I think so... Honestly I don' see him doing much better than he did first time out.. This time I think Wilder gets the stoppage.

 

Unless you think really little of Joshua, no.

In the end I stand by that Stiverne is a solid guy and has done a couple things.

Wilder shouldn't be held in the same regard as Joshua.

 

I could almost agree with this if the first fight hadn't happened and Stiverne made

Sure, the likelihood is that Wilder repeats that feat. But my only point is that with Wilder's super-fragile mandible, this gives Stiverne a "puncher's chance."

 

One was a very good replacement, while the other is a very, very bad mandatory who hasn't looked good in years.

The only way Stiverne can win is if he lands something big before he gets stopped himself, which is what they call the "punchers chance". Nothing more.
