Woud SRL be able to handle Calzaghe's hand speed and stamina?

Yes he would have. But....Joe would have to weight 154 at the weigh in. 32 foot ring 16 oz gloved with no thumb. In Palmer Park , Mary Land.

Oh, get off of Joe's overrated jock!

If the Leonard that fought Hagler moved up a few pounds and came in at like 163-164, yes, that version of Leonard absolutely outclasses Joe.

This man went life and death with Robin Reid, yet yall are so confident he beats freakin Ray Leonard.

I am no Calzage fan. I just know yr boy toy Leonard would not fight him straight up. No way. He was a bit of a ***** and I don't understand how you can defend his actions. Is that how you live yr life X? Only joining the fray when you have a clear advantage?..

Just think how the southpaw Bonds looked and lasted far longer than he should have. I think Leonard would have had a horrible time with a prime Nunn. Pretty much a field of crickets when that bout was talked about a little.

Now insert about a 3x greater workrate. Better defense and a superior chin. Throws every punch in the book. And simply the best combination puncher the sport has had in a long time---so Ray is not asked to slip 1 punch. more like 6. And this is not a Lalonde defense with his arm at his kneecap either.

I stopped reading after you called the slap master a great combination puncher.

The Calzaghe worship on Eastside is disgusting.

Well - assuming we're talking about a prime Joe Calzaghe and that Leonard's first jaunt as an SMW was after having only fought two fights in over five years, after major eye surgery... ... ... and having only just scraped by a creaking champion in Marvin Hagler... ...I'd say Leonard's got his work cut out.

Leonard got stopped by Terry Norris he couldn't handle the speed and combo's,, he got dropped by Lalonde, Joe TKO's Leonard in 10 , of course this is assuming Ray would take a fight like this, he wouldn't.

At that weight, you have to favour Calzaghe.
