    It is quite silly with all the ado that is made out of Leonard's post Hagler career. As long as he wasn't holding any belts/titles hostage, which he wasn't, he had earned the right to do the things he liked.

    People act like he was a young beast in his prime with a lot still to prove, and that is very wrong on both accounts.

    Stipulating weight clauses, he did it with Hearns also I believe. Not fighting the best available competition, until Norris anyway. The fans were calling for fights with Virgil Hill & Michael Nunn & instead we got Hearns 2 because he thought Tommy was shot to shite, & Duran 3 because he thought Duran was shot to shite.

    People act like that about nearly every boxer back in their youth, particularly Holyfield. People act as if he was near invincible if the other guy wasn't Bowe. Yet when we look at the facts, Holyfield almost got KTFO and often struggled with mediocre competition, like old Holmes, Cooper and Stewart. But beating a fat as **** Douglas and midget-arms Tyson somehow makes him king.

    Don't know if those guys were mediocre but ok.
