Would T. Hearns of KO'd P.Williams @147?

He KO's Williams at 147 or 154. That said if Williams sits down on his shots, he probably has a good shot of doing some damage to Hearns.

 

That is a good point. Tommy Hearns could crack like a beast however his chin left something to be desired.

 

No, but it doesn't change the fact that Hearns skill level is way above Williams.

 

Williams doesn't have one punch KO power. He knocks out opponents through accumulation, save for Quintana who is chinney as hell.

 

Yes Heasrns at 147 was a monster. Williams would be outa there.

No doubt - even tho Williams has legitimate reason for vacating the welters, it doesnt stop the fact that he hasnt campaigned there long enough to survive a prime hearns,,,mouth watering fight though given both their frames ,styles and power

 

I am certain Hearns would have knocked Williams out cold in a huge mismatch.

lets talk about this in 3 -5 years when if PW has a legacy anywhere close to TH's. Until then not even close, most likely not even then.

Hearns would do more than ko Williams. He'd massacre him inside 3 rounds.
