Would the body shot Tyson floored Spinks with have floored Wilder or Fury?

Someone streamed Frazier`s body shot vs Quarry when he floored him with a hook to the ribs, but I feel Tyson`s body shot on Spinks causing the first knockdown in their blowout was more powerful, why do some people claim that shot wasn`t that hard? It was vicious. Could Wilder or Fury have taken Tyson or Frazier`s body shots from these respective bouts? Could today`s top heavies have taken either fighters body attacks in general?

It just looked that way, though body shots can be deceptive, they are very painful, like te body shot that Loma saw off Linares with.

 

I can't say the punch was more powerful but I am certain of 2 things...Tyson was more powerful and he was much more precise

 

Frazier stopped Quarry with that body shot? Wasn’t it only a knockdown?

 

Personally I think Frazier's shot was harder, or at least much more effective. Reason being , Quarry came to fight and win, though he was less talented than Spinks , he was their to win and defeat Frazier. Frazier had to beat that desire out of him. Spinks on the other hand didn't want to be in the ring with Tyson, it was all over his face. He was completely intimidated well before the fight happened.. His mind beat him well before any punch landed by Tyson.

 

Both great body shots. The Tyson one was the punch that put Jinx down for the first time in his career I believe so that's at least the most impressive .

 

Oh sorry, I didn`t even watch the whole fight, I was replying to someone who streamed the knockdown on a thread.

 

You don’t ever seem to watch a whole fight? Why not? You chimed I’m in Taylor Chavez and gave an opinion because you scored the 2nd round for Chavez even though you didn’t watch the fight. Instead of watching and posting YouTube videos, and taking other people’s thread ideas as your own thread....why not just watch a WHOLE fight and make a thread about a fight or fighter you are studying or interested in.

Also changing your thread title after this gets pointed out does not fool anyone either. Just watch a whole fight for a change

 

it is hard to say. But if it did not floor them they would probably feel it and it might change the fight. This is where I think Joshua would be better than Wilder or Fury, in taking punches to the body. Just his size and being in the shape he is in. Yet I don't think Fury or Wilder or Joshua are going to be open to many body punches by a Tyson if they are smart. If he gets that close he will be landing his other punches which are even worse.

 

Wilder and Fury are physically tougher then Spinks. Tyson was a top 5 body puncher, off hand he's at least 3 as beyond Tommy Morrison i can't think of a harder body puncher from the past.

M.Tyson would make both take a knee if enough landed. Wilder is probably a little tougher to hurt in the body, then Fury who is softer with less muscle or hard tissue.

 

I watched the whole of Spinks v Tyson! But I didn`t see it in 1988 because I was camping with my school.

Wow! You watched a whole 91 seconds of uninterrupted action. I guess I was off on my statement. Was I wrong in saying that you don’t watch many 12-15 round fights or am I being to simplistic? Am I right or being a little bit harsh?

 

Wilder`s body was open to Fury when he started to cover his head in certain rounds, Tyson would have gone to town in those moments and body shots make you gas, AJ too some body shots off Parker very well, his trunk is very thick compared to Wilder`s that`s why he would take body shots better.
