Would the heavyweight division be better off without the Klitschko brothers?

It's a **** way of looking at looking at the heavyweight division to be honest.

Can you imagine if Ali had taken a belt, and sat on it, and Frazier had won a belt and sat on it - and they'd refused to fight each other for whatever reason. (Being brothers is a good reason tho....).

Wlad can't be the lineal champ, simply because many people think Vitlay would beat him. Who's the best fighter in the world? Nobody knows, because the 2 that are the best, won't fight.

Without Vitlay, I think Wlad could have been undisputed champ. And vice versa.

Yep, it's a unique situation. But I don't think it helps heavyweight boxing. Especially as 'the champ' doesn't have to face the best challengers. They're split between the 2 brothers, so they only have to face half of them.

Arreola lost to Vitlay. In theory, if he was the next best (and I'm not saying he is) around, then he should now get a shot at Wlad. But it doesn't work that way does it? He's back of the queue now.

Spinks Bros. never fought each other.

I do not want Vitali and Vlad to fight each other and am glad they never will. You can't blame them.

Klitschkos are the very best. It's not the heavyweight division being no good, it's the Klitschkos are so good, they are the very best.
