Would the Klit brothers have had the same success without their tag team bullsh*t?

If they didn't have eachother to take care of their toughest challengers.. Wlad would have had to rematch Sanders, which i doubt he would have been too crazy about.. Vitali would also have had to rematch Byrd, one of the only fighters who didn't fold and didn't allow Vitali to bully him.
Wladimir has fought most of the top guys in this **** division, except for a few ones, so you may be able to give him the benefit of doubt (but i doubt his chances in a Sanders rematch).
It is easier to dominate an era when the comp is weak, but it is even easier when you have a brother to take out some of the contenders..

Wladimir found his heart in the first Peter fight. After that one, I doubt he would have to worry about Sanders. I don't think Vitali would have had any trouble with Byrd if it wasn't for the injury - people cling to that one wayyy too much. The real problem isn't that there are to Klitschkos - it's that we don't have someone like Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson or Holmes to challenge them. Just two other world-class fighters would make it a pretty awesome division imo.

How can you dominate a division when you're half of a double act & have to tag-team to avenge each others losses?

Future historians will hopefully take this into account when assessing the Klits careers

then i guess no one can ever dominate a division....because other than the klits, ive seen no one unify belts , and there are a million of them....whos been more dominate than Wlad in any division since they became champions? 1,2 people ? floyd? because he fights for whichever 5 belts he feels like going for , i dont call that dominating....

Wladimir was sucsessful fom 2006-2008, no Vitali around.

Wlad does not need Vitali to be sucsessful. If he could work with Steward after his loss to Sanders he would have won the rematch like Lewis won against McCall. No problem for Wlad to be sucsessful without his brother.

It would be better if Wladimir actually fought like a dominant intiminating HW champ, it would be better to watch.. But instead he is jabbing and hugging on his way to a late stoppage...

Wlad may have the benefit of doubt, but it can't be denied that he never rematched the guy who exposed him and this will forever haunt his career.
I think Sanders is a nightmare for Wladimir..

i suggest you go watch the more exciting middleweight division....where winning a belt insures the best guy guy next in line to fight will be the 9th best in the world at best or 16th if you just went up the ladder....because they like their little titles and they aint risking them against no one else that owns one

Dominating a division is what Louis did in his time, what Tyson did in the late 80s, what Hagler did in the 80s, or even what Holmes did in his reign..
But splitting the comp between another belt holder in the division and not fighting the #2 guy in the division can't hardly be considered "real" domination.

How can you be dominant when you refuse to fight the long-term #2 challenger? Is Ward dominating the 168lb division?

Both brothers share a portion of the HW titles, thats not domination, its co-operation. Take one brother out of the equation & the HW scene would look very different.
