Would the Klitchko's still "RUN" the HW division if they fought from 1983-93?

Pretty idiotic statement to be fair seen as though a prime Vitali got his arse handed to him by an out of shape 38? year old Lewis

83-85 Holmes would beat both Klits, as would Holyfield, Tyson and Maybe Bowe, Moorer and Bruno as well. The Klits are good but not great and some of these guys on that list were great.

guys you don't get it, lewis was out of shape, and not that bad like some of you call it, but he had tremendous experience. he beat vitali only with his experience... because after he saw the cut he started to work the cut. and vitali was in his physical prime, but he had no experience in big fights. take vitali from the sanders fight and lewis before the tyson fight(that was lewis physical prime) and you would have a toss up

As far as ruling like they do now, I'd say no.

Would they still be competitive and in the upper echelon, picking up good wins over the top guys along the way with a few losses? Certainly. They'd be successful in any era, even if not to the extent they are now.

The bolded names are the guys that I think can beat the Klit. brothers...Given if they come in focused, in shape, I could see those guys giving both Vitali and Wlad fits...

Joe Louis had experience and size on his side when he fought Marciano, ditto for Holmes against Tyson, if Vitali was really that good he would not only have beat Lewis that night but he would've blew him away. The Lewis that got KTFO by Rahman was better than what vitali stepped in the ring with. Lets face it, he really just isn't that good.

Seriously. this has probably already ben ripped to shreds by numberous posters, but come on. If the Klitschko's mom would pick them to win all of the fights you just did.

Good call. Ruddock beats Wlad 4 out of 5, but loses to Vitali.

A Vitali with a surgically repaired shoulder, spine and one knee was "prime" ? Lennox Lewis was "shot", but in his very last fight with Tyson (who was really shot) was in great condition ?

Anyways, I would have made Lennox a 70-30 or 60-40 favourite over a prime Vitali as of the Hide fight, due to the same cuts.
