    Had it not been for Moonves laying down the law? I think not.

    I mean it already took 5 years and there was still nothing.

    Moonves must have really gave Floyd an ultimatum, no? I reckon there would've been a lawsuit had the not faced Manny as part of his contract as that was the big one. Agreed?

    I honestly don't think so. I think Floyd's deal with Showtime has put pressure on him.

    What sort of "ultimatum" could Moonves possibly give?

    Mayweather had a legally binding contract, after which he may well be retiring.

    What could Moonves possibly have threatened him with?

    No 'easy' fights or No pointless rematches?

    We want to earn money and the only person out there barring Canelo (another rematch), that can earn us huge money is Manny Pac.

    Do you think that the guys at Show were just going to say 'Yeah, Have a trilogy with MM, take a Cotto rematch or a Canelo rematch."?

    No one knows what the terms of the contract are... but given that these are high powered businessmen, I am sure there is language in there that mandates Floyd's PPV buys have to hit a certain number to keep collecting the guarantee.

    The Guerrero and Maidana fights were flops. It's no coincidence that Espinoza refused to release the numbers and then magically, a Pacquiao fight was made.

    Basically Floyd was cornered from all angles. But the big cheeses told him, 'We want a return on our investment or else...'. No way they'd let Floyd fight whoever he wanted to.

    You guys are dumb. Mayweather wanted 100 million to fight, and he's now getting it plain and simple. He knew if he waited he would get it. Arum and Pac play media games to discredit mayweather while Mayweather is out to make the most money he can. You see while Pac gets ****d from arum, Money mayweather brings in money for himself and to to the city of Vegas.

    All credit goes to Mayweather and Pac, no one else.

    PBF said last May that he had a surprise for his fans in May 2015 and this fight was his surprise.:deal I can't believe how many people act like they don't remember him saying that. I think you do remember but want to act like you don't.
