Hard to say, maybe, but I don't think that is gonna stop Pacquaio's style giving him trouble. If Mayweather is to win it will be competitive and I think that's why most are going to tune in!

 

Well Showtime is paying him. If they're taking losses on his fights, I'm sure they'd stand to lose more having him fight scrubs as opposed to breaching contract. They're not stupid though, I'm sure they have control over who he fights.

Yea I remember people saying he'd duck Canelo and was forced to fight him. He was also a 3 to 1 favorite against Canelo like he is Pacquiao now.

That's an assumption. Don't get me wrong, his surprise for May could have been the Pacquiao fight, but it could also have been Khan or any other fighter. Unless concrete proof comes out showing he had Pacquiao lined up since last year then we can't be 100% sure. I personally think he said that just to build up the hype for his next fight since most people would think it was Pac. Floyd isn't the most credible person.

Fact: Showtime/CBS said publicly they don't decide who Mayweather fights.
Fact: Moonves was just as influential for getting Top Rank involved, and silencing Bob Arum. Pretty clear there was a gag order to not talk to the media about negotiations.
Fact: Moonves was the "mediator" that brought ALL PARTIES INVOLVED TOGETHER. Pretending he just put pressure on one side is not realistic, and it was publicly stated that Moonves "wouldn't accept no for an answer FROM ALL PARTIES." At no point in time did CBS/Showtime say all the pressure Moonves was placing was on Mayweather. Absolutely ridiculous.

You guys are in for a rude awakening May 2nd. You guys are going to be in denial, and I'm already ready to see your laundry list of excuses for why you guys don't know how to ****yze a fight at all.
