Would the outcome of the rios vs alvarado fight been different if...

Don't know if it would have been different but he mos fed should have took a knee.
Try to clear his head give himself a chance he was hurt pretty bad.
His own warriors pride got in the way.
The Ref was wise in stopping the bout.

He wasn't throwing back & has his gloves halfway up... Not really guarding his body or his head.

 

Alvarado was gone if he took a knee he woulda probably fell flat

 

The round just prior to that Rios landed a killer body shot that allowed Rios to do big damage as it froze Alvarado.
That body shot was still with him in that last round there, and Rios kept touching him there to set up the upstairs work for the finish even had Alvarado took a Knee Rios would have went back down to the body and finished him off anyways.

From the start of the fight Alvarado did well he should have boxed more but he too wanted to brawl and thats where he ****ed up should they rematch you will see him try to box more and stay away from the brawling but then again bad habits die hard he may just end up thinking he has what it takes to bang it out with Rios who knows.

To answer the question though No it wouldnt have mattered Rios would have went right back to the body and stopped him
