Could do but I think a few factors came into play that night.

    1. Froch underestimated GG.

    2. GG capitalised on Froch's lack of technique when forcing Froch to stand his ground he squares up, Mr Mackie head up in the air Umm kay, hands punching from waist height.

    3. GG punch power or Froch's chin was overated. I mean GG hurt Froch throughout the 2 fights yet he couldnt put a dent in the supposedly chinny Badou Jack.

All in all yes GG can and will hurt CEJ, it's the resilience of CEJ not his chin that would allow him to get back up.

If Froch hit any Super Middleweight with that punch with his opponent standing square up I have no doubt it would have been fight over.

I don't think it'd KO Eubank, no. I think his chin is pretty good, there haven't been too many moments where he's been properly hurt by a shot. I think it's definitely possible to put Eubank down, just not out.

He's gonna have to throw one of those, otherwise he's in bother. Eubank Jr has absolutely unreal stamina, it's scandalous how much stamina he has. He could very well have the best gas tank in the game, so Groves is going to have to lower Eubank's workrate a bit by throwing more power shots and more shots overall. Problem is, if he comes forward, Eubank will tear him apart, and if he stands back and defends, he'll be outworked. Groves has to strike the perfect balance to win this, and it's a good job he's a bright guy.

He has a good engine but be needs a minute off every round so hardly the best in the game. Plus when he's getting jabbed hard and hit with hard fight handers I think we will see it Take a toll on his stamina.

ask Martin Murray about GG power. He says hes a harder puncher than GGG.

Badou Jack hardly chinny He was caught off Edwards but improved a lot technically.

Jrs chin stood up at Bristish level that's all.... World level a diff prop

I think Eubank’s team have done an absolutely superb job of pushing out the iron chin, amazing gas tank propaganda.

I don’t think Eubank would have recovered from it. I think he’d have got up and then stopped on his feet.

I can't see anyone taking that shot and not at least getting dropped. Froch was walking in throwing a 3 punch combo all of which missed, was squared up and had his chin in the air. Honestly if you can't KO a man catching him like that then you never will, it was like the Marquez/Pac KO, only Froch got up unlike Pac.

Eubank would likely never get caught with a shot like that, he's no way near as reckless as Froch was that night. But if he did just walk in with his chin in the air then I expect him to get dropped, maybe even KO'ed. Even Eubank Sr would be dropped in that scenario, Sr would get up though.

    Agreed.

And Junior, even if with a superb engine and an acceptable beard, won't be able to punch non stop for three minutes every round, nor will he be unaffected by repeated clean shots in the face and head. And they will be coming.

And who says that GG can only go forward or stand back (written somewhere above)? There is more to his game than this ArthurAbrahamlike approach.

I actually like Junior's personality but I do not think he is going to win against Groves, unless it is with the judges' help.

He said his back hand was singularly better but GGG was the heavier handed which is what I'd say is accurate.

There's a reason Murray was down repeatedly by GGG and GG couldn't drop him.

Plus Golovkin is levels above Groves talent wise.
