    This.

Fury is a lot better than given credit for. I picked him to beat both Klits about 3 years ago.

Until Joshua shows me a bit more, id pick Fury over him.

Its just another case of 'oh look there's a new big bad menacing puncher lets pick him over the guy whose better skilled'.

Back to the topic at hand, Tyson (Mike) would have beaten Berbick, Martin and Joshua one after the other on the same night.

Too early to say. AJ has proven himself a legit top 10 contender but by no means an ATG. Personally, I'm leaning toward believing he will become one, and that the answer to the op question is a definitive "no".

McDermott was a very early fight, and Fury stopped him in a return match.
    Fury's improvement started in 2012.
I didn't think much of Fury either.

Still, he's a proven quantity now.

Like I said, I expect Joshua to be a favourite. Mike Tyson was favourite against Holyfield. George Foreman was favourite against Muhammad Ali. People tend to fall in love with power punchers and sometime underrated the adapatable boxers.

The biggest threat to Fury is a revenge-minded Wlad. That's the one he needs to get past.

You've just posted pretty much the same thing I did at the same time!

I feel the biggest threat to the division is Luis Ortiz, watch people find ways to avoid him.

Fury has shown me pretty much everything I need to see, I do question his concentration/mentality sometimes, but he's got the potential to go down as an ATG.

Joshua, people are falling in love with the muscles, the power and the flashy knockouts.

Fury will take Joshua into deep waters and drown him.

At present you've got to say Tyson. We know how good he was then and he was pretty much at his best. Joshua is still learning his trade.

I agree, I rate him #2 or #3 as of now.
Fury has already stated he has little interest in fighting him, for the very fact that it is likely to be low reward for high risk.

I agree that at this moment in time Fury would beat Joshua. Fury though has already peaked in my opinion. I have a feeling that Joshua,in 12 - 18 months, will surpass him.

Furys just not active enough, BUT to me he's the sort of guy, who can turn up for a fight, have a bad day in the office and still find a way to win. Although he's peaked I believe his peak will last longer than Joshuas.

Take away Joshuas power and he's knee deep in ****.

Its kind of like a Lewis Tyson type scenario with Fury like Lewis and Joshua like Tyson.

He's what Rigondeaux and Lara could be if they fought more aggressively.

Nothing more frightening than a Cuban fighter whose defensively sound and very aggressive.

Id be disappointed in Fury if he avoids Ortiz. In the long run, these are the guys that help cement your legacy.

But bills come first I guess.

    Come on man!

Tyson went on to a Hall Of Fame career and Joshua is just getting started, not really fair.

Right now I'd say Tyson because I know how good he was. There are many unanswered questions about Joshua.

I like what I've seen of Joshua. He's got speed, power and good technical skills for a man his size. But as most here points out, he's still developing and haven't really been tested.

I see no reason yet to write him off as a hype, though. He seems to have the tools, but has to prove that against better opposition.

Lol I remember calling him Billy Wright Cyrus that night. Joshua would probably KO Wright and Moorer on the same night to be honest... too soon to really tell how good he is though. Hopefully he won't get upset before facing the best HWs.
