why did you make a post about joe lous? where the fk do you get off, dude? do you see me making posts about kostya or jirov? louis was not your champion. stick to your ee fighters and you latin fighters. use one of them to illustrate yuour stupid point...you have no good reason and no business making posts about guys like joe louis.

Who the **** do you think are you piece of ****, I'm an American and the last time I checked this is a free country and I have the right to do a thread on whomever I like.

Next time look before you leap I'm not even bashing Joe Louis, I made this thread to point out how reactionary and stupid modern day fans are, kind of like you. Who like to tear down a fighter after one bad performance, every ATG would be completely destroyed by "fans" like you if they were fighting today.

He was not 'your' champion either. He was his own man, his race or nationality does not mean you can 'claim' him. He was a human being at the end of the day, get over your obsession with EE vs USA, it's embarrassing.

There is no way Tyson was stronger. Strenght is one of the few things Povetkin has going for him. He's much bigger. Tyson was faster? Footwork, yes. Handspeed, they're about even.
And even tough Povetkin tends to gass, he still has an higher workrate than Tyson, that after the first 3 rounds clinched incessantly and did little else.

You're right CST, many legends would have been torn apart if they had fought nowadays. Look at foremans record before he fought for the title, pretty sure his last fight before he got his shot was against a guy on a 5 fight losing streak, he would have been obliterated on here for that. For the record, Im a foreman fan.

Joe Louis wouldn't even qualify as sparring partner, today. Watch his full fights, he was atrocious. Slow, ponderous, no pop. And he was as big as.... Steve Cunningham!!!! Only that Cunningham embarrasses Joe phisically. What Joe had in fat, Steve has in pure lean muscle masses.

Vits does have a very good chin, no argument there. But I wouldnt sell Carnera short in this department. He got up 11 time against Baer, one of the hardest rated punchers in history.

Very few Champions are appreciated in their own time, and the few that were often get downgraded in retrospect like Dempsey.

Louis was not above criticism either in his own time.

Yet ironically you'd probably one of the ones on here who wanted nothing to do with Louis after one or two of his bad performances, I find it interesting the trolls who are obsessed with tearing fighters records down are the ones that are have problems comprehending this thread.
