You know damn good and well that every fighter now days gets the living **** beaten out of them because of one bad performance and if you're too dense to comprehend the parallels I've drawn between fans probable reaction to Louis and modern day fighters records then you're not too bright everyone else except for you and cm seem to get it.

mate, you made the judgement call on what I think, you assumed you knew my opinion before I gave it.

you assumption is the source of the problem here. deal with it, don't rant about it.

ifyou'd have asked then you'd now know I wouldn't have counted it too much against Louis getting beaten by a former world champ in schmeling especially when he later destroyed him in return., and I certinaly never felt retired losses to Charles and Marciano count against him - in fact he gets credit for trying against the very best even when old.

    next time, ask.

Yet I'm sure it doesn't matter to you that Wlad destroyed Brewster in the rematch. And stopped Peter in the rematch right, you still hold those losses when he was young and green against him.

For the record this thread is meant to be satirical, its not my personal beliefs.

    wlad didn't lose to peters.

wlad rematched Brewster eventually when he was pushing 35, yep.
but not the other journeymen/retiree losses. the mark of a true champion eh?

I know that but Sam dropped him a few times which I've seen held against as well, everyone makes excuses for everyone but Wlad seems a tad bit hypocritical doesn't it.

    Yea right

    I see Tyson-Povetkin as a 60-40 fight in Tyson's favor.

Sasha is not afraid of anyone and we all know how well Tyson's fragile psyche faired against those that didn't fear him. Plus his ability to take a punch is pretty damn good.

From 90s Tyson maybe but no way Povetkin handles 87-88 Tyson man. And I'm a huge Sasha fan.

Joe Louis is the 2nd best HW of all time.

He'd KO Klitty, Klitty Elder, Lenny and Povetkin.

Europeans don't scare Joey. He looked Hitler STRAIGHT in the eye for the fight of the century and told him he wasn't sheit before the fight. He then proceeded to knock out the best European HW of all time in ONE round.

After this fight, Hitler was intimidated by the Brown Bomber. You could see Hitler sitting in his office in Germany sweating profusely after he heard the news. This fight led to Germany's inevitable downfall.

Yesterday's fighters were more beatable because they would face the best whenever, wherever and often.

    Today it's politics and fear.
