Floyd Mayweather vs Gennady Golovkin @ 154?

Let's say Mayweather beats Alvarez by a wide UD, you guys think he'd call out GGG? :think

hmmm well GGG weighed in at 170 for the macklin fight?.... if you compare him to canelo who is a 154 fighter who rehydrates to 172 IT MAY be possible for ggg to come down though in doing so that voids floyd of any credit in the eyes of haters and just becomes a super dangerous fight floyd wont get credit for....

most boxing fans wouldn't but casual fans and haters do make up the majority, thankfully they help keep the sport relevant by ranting on forums and purchasing PPV's

Why the hell would Mayweather call out anyone? It wouldn't make sense. It also wouldn't make sense for him to fight Golovkin. Mayweather walks around at about 150 lbs. He's a WW. Yes, he will be fighting his 3rd fight at JMW. However, all 3 of those fights were huge fights. Why would Floyd fight outside of his ideal weight class to fight a dangerous fighter who does not have much of a fan base when he can fight whoever he wants? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Golovkin isn't a worthy opponent, because he certainly is. I'm just saying I don't see the sense in Mayweather making this fight.

HBO haven't built Golovkin's profile up and showcased him 3 times in over 8 months for him to go to Showtime to fight Mayweather. In a word, no.

Do you guys understand Middleweights are 160. Not 154. It doesn't matter what Alvarez can do with his weight. He's 22 years old. Golovkin is 31. Stop being ridiculous folks.

    Floyd is too small, please.

Gennadiy is well on his way to becoming the undisputed MW champion.

I wouldn't rule it out but GGG will really need to put together a few high profile wins(and look impressive in doing so) for Mayweather to even consider it.

That wouldn't be enough to raise his profile to PPV levels. He needs to clean out the MW division before Mayweather even considers it.
