Oh certainly but if we were maxing out his “P4P potential” typically 4 weight classes is better then 2 and if the machine backs him he has the longevity to finish everything on the plate from 2015-2025 pretty easily.

Where P4P at his height do you think he’d land? Top 10 he’s there but I’m positive he’s top 5.

Depends on who he fights and beats i guess and in which divisions. But sure I think top 5 can be likely

In my personal opinion Johnson would be able to beat:

Canelo (168lbs) - Johnson beats Canelo rather handily imo. Terrible style match up for Ginger. Would look very similar to the Henry Hank fight. Johnson easily beats any other 168lber.

At 175lbs, Johnson would again easily outclass anyone not name Beterbiev or Bivol.

Beterbiev - hard fight for Johnson but since he managed to take the power of Moore (well, mostly...) in repeated bouts and even beat him I think it's unlikely Beterbiev beats him. Johnson has all the ability and then some to do the same strategy as Bivol. Skill wise he is clearly better than Artur (despite Artur being underrated imo). Arturs power and short punching is however very dangerous for him here. His most dangerous match up by far imo, but Johnson is simply too proven to pick against.

Bivol - another win for Johnson. Again, not easily, but Johnson was more offensively dynamic and varied whilst equalling Bivol in boxing skill and ring generalship. Would be difficult at first but Bivol isn't quite as cagey as Pastrano and is a lot more offensively straightforward. Unlike Artur, Bivol doesn't have any physical advantages here either. Johnson takes over in the second half.

After that, I could absolutely see Johnson beating Cruisers like Badou Jack and Billam Smith. Guys like Opetia etc are where both size + class combinations may become too much.

In conclusion... Yeah, he'd be Numero Uno.

I think if we looked at a realistic timeline of which I didn’t supply and had him hit his good years around the time Nelo and GGG were duking it out he’d be able to snatch the belts at 160lbs, be a long term champ at 168lbs after going trinket hunting, build himself for 175lbs hit up Bivol and Beterbiev in one career… 200lbs looks out of his depth, at least the top guys but that’s my 0.2$ those are much bigger fellas then the HW’s of Harold’s day… IDK maybe he could enter flow state… with the media machine behind him I can’t see him any less then #3 and to me he’d be the modern P4P GOAT.

Well, I am assuming a perfect career trajectory where Johnson gets to fight all of them within his prime, with no wasted time. In an 'actual' reality that would never happen, I guess lol.

Yes and Beterbiev as well. Watch the Pastrano fight and how much he struggled with him tells me a lot about how he does he Bivol.

He is certainly more skilled than anyone today. He seems like he lost his focus during the fight sometimes, which can happen, it´s never talked about, but it´s not uncommon, certain guys just are not the most focused during all minutes...
