You have no clue. Ali beat Terrell going away winning most every round. Ali toyed with Wepner and in addition did little training for the bout. Ali had no issues fighting and destroying tall opponents.

Nortons unique style gave Ali fits. Fury, a complete amateur, does not have Nortons skill or style.

Fury is the most amateurish fighter ever to hold the hwt championship. Just simply terrible.

Explain how he is amateurish? Because he has his own unique unorthodox style and doesn't anything that the boxing textbooks say a professional fighter should do?

His previous title was black Hercules. Flick back through some past threads jack and you'll get a flavour of his attitude.

Explain? Watching him SHOULD BE the only explanation you should need. He is a joke.

It's self explanatory. Fury is an awkward mess of a fighter. I alternated between laughing out loud at his complete ineptitude and shaking my head in disbelief and sorrow as to how low the hwt division has stooped over the years. Complete embarrassment.

Fury had an ugly style, but it didn't take a genius to see that he had buckets of raw skill. He wouldn't have outclassed Wlad if he didn't.

Nope! The scorecards in Ali's fights with the tallest men he faced.
    Terrell 148-137,148-133,148-137.
    Sabedong50-34,50-38,49-43.
Wepner, up to the tko 136-129,138-129.
    Easy unanimous decisions.

I'm not a fan of Fury's, in or out of the ring, but he presents his own unique set of problems to fighters, he is quick on his feet for such a big man ,unpredictable can fight in either stance and understands range very well.He made Chisora look stupid and Chisora gave Vitali a decent fight. He is horrible to watch imo but it works for him.

He's a brilliant fighter, though his unorthodoxy and general awkwardness can fool a lot of people that are used to viewing boxing through a narrower lens. It's a shame he'll likely never fight again, as I think he could have revolutionised our understanding of the sport and provided a template for future SHWs to draw inspiration from.

Whilst I'm not comparing him to Ali, the same things that people say about Fury they said about young Cassius. His style was all wrong, it would never work against the top heavy s etc. But against Ali of the third Norton bout, it could have payed off. A strange style, the bigger, younger man and Ali s age against him. Could have been looking at a big upset. Fury wouldn't have folded like Dunn, I'm confident he would have been there at the end of the 15 th.

My post was tongue in cheek. Not meant to be taken as a serious analysis.

Fury has talent to burn and a style that, combined with his size and length, causes problems for anyone. He has exceptionally light feet for a man his size. Too bad he'd rather be nostril deep in the booger sugar .

I would lean towards him besting a 76 Ali.
