Pssss.......The watch.......ask him which watch he wears.
If it isn't a rolex then he must be an amatuer.

Oh Yeah! I forgot about the watch! He could still be an "amateur".

Fury was a supersized Ali. Both were movement based fighters who didn't have great power but had great volume punching and movement who, above all, relied on greatly outsizing their opponents. In Ali's era, 6'3 215 was enough to greatly outside opponents, in Fury's era 6'9 260. Ali would be severely outgunned.

The problem with Fury, as hinted at by Janitor, is that he really only pulled it all together for one night. It was an impressive performance, but he will never be noted for consistently fighting at the highest level.

I can't get my head round that some on here are comparing Fury to Ali.
I agree that for a man of his size Fury is pretty light on his feet and he has good skills.
However regarding movement, athleticism and speed he is a million miles away from Ali.
He's a slob of a fighter compared to Ali.

He's also huge and heavy handed. His dimensions alone would cause a ton of fighters problems.

He's someone who'd always rise to the occasion, I feel. Though by that same token he'd always dial it in against lesser opposition and end up struggling more than he has to. It's mind boggling to think that the same fighter that went life and death with John McDermott ended up outclassing Wlad Klitschko scarcely a few years later.
