I don't think so. I think the 1987 Tyson has a good chance against 1974 Ali. Foreman had brute power but did not put his punches together like Tyson did. He was a big guy, and that was not enough for Ali, where with Frazier he could tee off on him. I think the Tyson of 1987 might be a little inexperienced for Ali, but if he works the body and stays on that I think he could maybe pull off an upset.

Rope a dope would not work with Tyson. He would hit the body. Mike put his punches together better than Foreman. He had to, he was smaller and compact. The way someone beats Mike is holding him and finding a way to hold and then hit him before you grab him again. Leaning against the ropes cannot work against a guy like Mike.

Ali would have chosen a strategy required to win. Against Foreman Ali found a small ring, thickly padded canvas and a quicker than expected opponent. After round one he altered his fight plan to better be sucessful.

Hard to say. Tyson was in my mind two handed more than Frazier was and had a better right to the body to set up the uppercut. Ali lost to quite a few guys.

Tyson seemed to be in very good shape for second Holy bout. What drove him mad were the head butts that Holy was a master of.
I think Ali pulling a rope a dope on Tyson could have potentially been a bad move.
Tyson was still fast and used his angles well but tended to stand up to strait and didnt move his head as much any moore. Only Rooney had him sharp with the peek a boo no one else could get him back to that. Any way as I said this could turn into a mistake for Ali as hes basically a heavy bag for Tyson and I feel thats a bad move.

he held him on the back of the head and leaned on him after some rounds and hit him with the right hand when Mike was not moving his head..

Frazier had the intestinal fortitude that Tyson lacked. Once Tyson saw that Ali was not going anywhere and was beating on him, hurting him and winning rounds he would become a very different tentative fighter.

what is getting better. Douglas used his size to wear Tyson down. Are you a clown on here? Show what you know by speaking, don't say hahahaha thinking that means anything on a discussion board.

You're the one trying to spin.
We were talking about ALI versus Tyson, and you came along spinning .... accusing me "according to you everyone beats Tyson".
So I responded to that, flipped it back at you. Now you're making out I'm spinning. When, in fact, I let you get away with your spin attempt and actually indulged it. When I throw your stupid tangent back at you, you don't like it.

So .... STFU ... OR stick to the subject Ali-Tyson .... AND stop personalizing it.

Back in the real world, Tyson's still the guy who got beaten up and KTFO by Buster Douglas.
He's still the guy whose BEST WIN is probably Trevor Berbick or some other mediocre heavyweight contender.

But I'll let you live in your fantasy land where Tyson murders Joe Frazier and wins against Muhammad Ali too. You seem happy there.
