Would Tyson have looked more menacing if he got his face tattoo in the 80's?

Ali said several times that Liston was "the scariest fighter he ever fought". Liston didn't need "tattoos" to be scary.

 

And Ali was not some hipster nerd who was menaced by cosmetics.

 

I thought it was flowers and unicorns?

 

I heard it was hearts and stars? Friggin hearts for the love of God!

 

Maybe he was going to join Kiss.

 

I wouldn't say it to his face, but I think the facial tattoo likes awful. I doubt it would have added to his menace.

 

I'm OK with the Maori tattoo. There's a history behind it and the Maori have a warrior culture. Sure, it looks wierd in modern culture but there's rhyme and reason to it. There's way worse things that could be tattooed to one's head. I've heard stories of people waking up after drunken parties with a ***** tattooed to their foreheads.

 

Not keen on tattoos.Back in the day military men had them bikers convicts and general working class types like my mates had them but not me { don't like um} nowadays every one has them school teachers office workers social workers etc so whats the point.

 

I was watching some of his old 80's fights yesterday and he was intimidating enough with the speed, the movement and the power.
