A potential clash between Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao and undisputed super-lightweight champion Danny Garcia may be in the works

    http://www.thefightcity.com/will-pacquiao-vs-garcia-be-the-one-to-break-the-ice/

Golovkin is also and he has no WBO strap

”The World Boxing Council has received official confirmation from Golden Boy Promotions with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez decision to vacate the WBC middleweight championship . Gennady Golovkin is hereby recognized as the undisputed WBC middleweight champion of the world.

It doesn't matter how many times you want to make the claim or how many ways you want to do it, nobody recognized the WBO Heavyweight as a legit title in the 1990s or early 2000s.

The WBO titles had been around since 1989 yet Tyson, Douglas, Holyfield and Bowe were all recognized as Undisputed World Heavyweight Champions with ever holding it.

Roy Jones Jr was recognized as Undisputed Light Heavyweight Champion when he held the WBC, WBA and IBF belt from 1999 to 2002.

Winky Wright was Undisputed Light Middleweight Champion in 2004 when he held the WBC, WBA and IBF belts.

Cory Spinks was Undisputed Welterweight Champion from 2003 to 2005 depite never winning the WBO belt. Likewise for Kostya Tszyu at Light-Welterwieght in 2001, and Pernell Whittaker at Lightweight from 1990 to 1992.

The WBO belts have never been recognized by anyone as necessary to crown an undisputed champion. In fact the only men to have been recognized as undisputed champion in any division in history to have held the WBO at the time they recieved that recognition were Bernard Hopkins - who was already recognized as Undisputed champ for holding the WBC, WBA and IBF belts before he beat De La Hoya for the WBO - and Jermaine Taylor - who beat Hopkins for all four belts.

Right. Francesco Damiani was WBO champ from 1989 to 1991 through the reigns of Tyson, Douglas and Holyfield. I don't recall anyone claiming that those guys were ducking the true champ.

The last 30 seconds of the last round Lewis hurt Vitali badly with a short right hook to the head. Vitali stumbled staggering into Lewis. As the round ends Lewis nearly takes Vitalis head off with a right uppercut. Lewis IMO was on his way to a KO win over Vitali had the bout not been stopped because of that cut.
