Would u consider Oscar De La Hoya an ATG?

    I really don't see how an argument can be made for de la Hoya being an ATG.

    Good fighter? Yes.

    ATG? No.

    My question would be; Exactly who has he beat to be considered an ATG fighter?

    yeah...barely makes it (top 90-110) and he might be the goat if they got rid of those pesky championship rounds (maybe not, he'd have a legitimate loss to quartey)

    True but that doesn't take away from a stunning performance to truely put himself on the international stage at the time. He could only fight who was in front on him and no fighter had done that to Chavez before so it was significant.

    Yes he is an ATG, his resume alone reflects this.

    ATG??..NO..Hall of famer YES..but 1 thing I will always will have respect for him never ducking anyone ...But as a man that always fought the best,I do wonder why he never fought Winky Wright..

    A lot of boxing fans couldn't accept a fighter with pretty boy looks and charm. That right there initiated a lot of hatred towards him. Those people will never give Oscar his due.

    Yes, but he'd be in the lower half of the top 100 fighters of all time. I'd say somewhere between 70 - 85.
