    Not much question about it.

And he did beat Tito, by a wide margin.

Chavez was definetly past his best, but even a faded version of Chavez was still a very good fighter.

Still a good win for ODLH. Many people thought Chavez would win this one.

ODLH has become Underrated, no doubt he is an ATG, one of the best fighters of his era.

Not just the most famous but one of the elites, and at one time a PFP king in a deep era. Many ATGs cant make that claim, or the amount of titles and quality of opposition.

Only Convincing defeats were to a ATG MW who was naturally much bigger, and against Pac when ODLH was clearly a Zombie that night, and no where near top condition.

His dominant victory was against smaller man like old chavez, gatti , old camacho, miquel angel gonzales... and also vargas , a popular name who hardly achieve anything

his best victory was against tito, yea I count that lost as a win cause he did win that one.
in higher weight class against mosley, hopkins, sturm, etc ... he's totally medicore fighter.

his golden boy image certainly help him to win on point against ike quartey & sturm

chavez was 34 & 36 when he fought de la hoya and de la hoya looks even weaker than chavez when he fought pacman.

A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF A HATER AND IGNORANT DOUCHE

Smaller men like Chavez??? U r aware that Chavez had been campaigning at 140 longer than Oscar had right??

    Vargas smaller???? :rofl:rofl:rofl :patsch

At the higher weight class he legitamately UNIFIED the JR. MW division. He was later ROBBED in the 2nd Mosley fight anyway you look at it. Eitherby the judges, Mosley's Steroid use, or BOTH.

Oscar De La Hoya was better at 154, than Karmazin, Ouma, Jantuah, Mosley, and the rest campaigning there, perhaps, maybe with the exception of Winky. Oscar beat the other TWO Jr. MW champions. HARDLY mediocre. :patsch

Or Maybe the two extra point advantage over Quartey in the last round put him over the top??? You forgot about that?? As far as Sturm goes, atleast he didn't celebrate it the way Tito, Pacquiao, Mosley, and many others did when they received gifts.

Chavez was no doubt a better fighter when he fought DLH, than DLH when he fought Pacquiao. Many reasons for that. Oscar was a part time fighter when he fought Pac, he dropped down to 146!!! His heart was clearly not in there, as he was and is at the height of his promotional career.

    You're clearly a delusional hater.
