Would I pay to see it? probably not. But I will watch it in anticipation if it's on free TV.

    It all depends.

    1. The cost. If it cheap then I would watch it. If not, **** it.

    2. If Tracy Byrd would be present

    Yes!!

    :think :think :think
More analysis needed:good Sure makes this week's ESPN2 FNF fights worth tuning in for:happy

The prefight vid was tight and I'll be damned if Byrd doesnt look pretty good:yep He wisely realized there was no mare at HW. Wanted more, worked his tail off and I've picked a rare Byrd TKO:D

I salute Byrd's desire, work ethic and determination:thumbsup He wins/looks impressive in his LHW debut? Yeah, I wanna see RJJ vs Byrd while Calzaghe fights Pavlik. It would bring things to focus.

If Byrd looks impressive on Friday, I think his stock will rise very quickly in this new division.

No, I wouldn't pay. Boxing should be on free network television, but as long as people keep paying PPV fees no questions asked, well, we get Byrd-Jones on PPV.

Seriously, BYRD??? I like the guy, but to pay to watch him perform is like... uh, well it's like something.

Of course. :yep ****, I paid for Vargas-Mayorga.

Anyone who ordered Jones-Trinidad really should not say no. :nod

My Latin teacher used to say "only boring people get bored". :think

I appreciate a good technical match. I'd pay in a heartbeat for Forrest-Spinks (and was planning on it until VP came along).

That's not nearly as bad as me ordering Tua-Montana. I think I paid 30 dollars for it:lol:

So to answer the question at hand, yes, I would most definitely order Jones-Byrd on PPV. Would be an interesting tactical battle.

I'd be interested in the fight, but I'd be more interested in a Calzaghe fight if Byrd is capable of putting on a scientific beat down on friday.

yup this fight is more better than a calzaghe-jones fight. It would be a good matchup no-mismatch fight as both guys are clearly past their prime already shot. Great way to end the loser's career imo
