sounds like Wlad wants to get him outa the way while he's still green and not exposed as chinny.....this guys not ready and might never be to be honest but if he manages to avoid getting his jaw cracked he needs experience vs a couple top 10 guys before jumping from British cans to Wlad

    I'd love that fight....

in 1-2 years, after Price fights a handful of times against some tougher competition.

It's a bit Larry Holmes-ish to defend against guys with that few fights. Price hasn't even been past 7 rounds or fought in a scheduled 12 rounder yet. If you're gonna fight a dude with 15 fights or fewer, he needs to have at least one win like that to make it somewhat credible.

Eventually yes, but not now. He's still a relative novice, he needs a couple of years to build up his experience. If his management team know what they are doing they will take his career slowly. Price is still fighting at a domestic level we still don't even know if he's good enough to compete with the best in Europe let alone the world.

I'd like Wlad to face Chisora, if Chisora beats Haye. Chisora showed against Vitali he had the head movement and style to get in close against a big man, the strength to not be manhandled in close, so will be able to work on the inside and the durability to take the fight into the later rounds. I think Chisora would give Wlad his toughest test since the 1st Peter fight.

Way too early for Price. A decent prospect but needs a lot more experience before a bout with Wlad!

It's the same **** fight by fight!

When Wlad or Vitali signs a contract, everybody here shouts why doesent they fight Price, Fury or Mitchel ...

and now he says he would like to fight price in the near future and all people say he is not ready yet, give him 2-3 more years, hes grenn bla..

so what, thats the biggest double standart :good

I think the concensus is that we'd mostly rather see Price get about 20 fights in first. He progressing very nicely, but with newfound world level fame, his activity is likely to drop, and that will either send him into a K2 fight green, or delay such a bout longer than it should.
Wlad is 36, and unlike Vitali, he didn't take 4+ yrs off. He's had what, 60 fights. He's got, maybe 10 left.

Price needs to stay active and make the fight before 2014. Let's hope it happen sometime and Price remains a hot ticket item until then.:good

Only idiots say that, and only idiots think Price with 13 fights should fight Wlad, imagine if Wlad faced Lennox in 1997 after 13 fights, it would have been sanctioned murder.
13 fight experience is not enough to fight any long reigning champion!!!

I don't think Price has a weak chin. It is at least about the same level as Tyson Fury
