Take a quick scan of the forum. Lots of people considered him the best fighter ever at cruiserweight before he moved up. Being the best ever among an entire division is a step above ATG.

We'll see if he can become a HW ATG.

He's been an ATG ever since he beat Gassiev for me, if he becomes undisputed at heavy then he'll be in the very upper echelons of ATGs. Will certainly be one of the greatest then.

Being that AJ took 3-4 rounds off the ATG, it's great to see AJ also being a ATG.

Doesn't really have many "filler" fights nor does he cherry pick. Makes him very easy to advertise.

If he beats AJ again hes an ATG 100%.
If he beats Fury, id put him in top 20 of all time due to the no-nonsense matches and constantly challenging himself with all odds against him, and pulling it off.

I'm not an expert boxing historian but if Usyk goes on to beat arguably the greatest H2H Heavyweight of all time in Fury and become the unified, undefeated Heavyweight champ, as a "blown up" Cruiser, at 6'3 and 220lb, he isn't just an ATG, he is the greatest to ever lace up the gloves in the Heavyweight division.

 

Yes, but where he ranks amongst ATGs will be tough to compare. He won’t have all the title defenses and longevity as other ATGs. I actually have the same difficulty with ranking Fury as well. If either could take on more top 10 guys with styles that pose a threat to them then it would be easier to assess. However Usyk is an ATG none the less and Fury a HOF and maybe ATG.

Usyk is an ATG at cruiser(yes even better than the cheater Holyfield) but he won’t beat the Gypsy King, no chance in hell. I can bet my missus trimmed vagina for it
