Would Usyk beat Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe and Lewis if he "appeared" in the 90s?

    Bowe only has 1 victory over prime Holyfield. The trilogy fight he was past it. But so was Bowe.

    I'm not. I love the 90's. But they weren't demigods. Usyk would be a Top 3 guy of the decade, if not better.

    People always do this. Surely in this kind of thread we match the best version of the fighter in the time period we are concentrating on. The Evander that fought Moorer was far from the best version.

    Holyfield got beat by the light heavyweight Moorer and went life and death with Bert Cooper. Moorer got beat by the 45 year old grandpa Foreman who had life and death with Alex Stewart, lost to Tommy Morrison and got outboxed by Axel Schulz. Lewis got sparked out by McCall and Rahman. Tyson got beat by Buster Douglas and lost to crusierweight Holyfield. Bowe got battered by Golota. Saying Usyk wouldn't be able to beat any of these guys on the night is crazy talk.

    Mike was a mentally fragile bully who thrived on intimidation and like all bullies either folded mentally and quit (trying to get himself DQ'd) or got knocked out when someone refused to be intimidated and stood up to him. Prime Usyk would frustrate the hell out of Mike with his constant movement and footwork and Mike would either quit in his corner or get DQ'd after biting Usyk or trying to break his arm. If they stacked the deck with a small ring which I'm no doubt sure they would it would make it a lot harder for Usyk

    Holyfield was a lab creation walking pharmacy and he wouldn't even get past VADA testing and if he did he certainly wouldn't be the force he was without his cocktail of steroids, HGH, EPO etc.

    Lewis has never fought a slick southpaw, let alone one remotely as great, slick, skilled, elusive and fit as Usyk against whom he will be missing more than ever did in his career and that would come back to haunt him in the last third of the fight because he would be blowing out of his ass

    Put that in your pipe and smoke it, boxing nostalgists

    I forgot Bowe. He gets taken to slick school too. Very dirty fighter who started bawling baba tears and quit when someone gave him a taste of his own medicine
