Would Usyk have gotten up had the ref counted it as a “body shot” instead of calling it a low blow?

For me Usyk looked in trouble. No one will really know but I thought he looked like he was struggling big time.

Even if he did get up he was getting up back down. Several minutes later Dubois hit him with another body shot and he was still done.

Standing up 15 seconds after the shot ? That's complete lies and you know it.

Absolutely. He's one of the toughest and most mentally strong fighters of all time and that is not even debatable because his track record proves it.

Even if he had to get up and run and use the ring which he's one of the best at doing to ride out the storm he could of, Dubois had enough trouble catching him clean all night even though Usyk chose to stand right in front of him and opted for a small ring, let alone if Uysk actually used his excellent legs

These clowns are just desperate to find any narrative they can cling to to discredit him. The ref even motioned him to stay down after he was ready to continue.

He was caught with a low shot from a much bigger murderous puncher, the ref deemed it low so he in accordance with the rules took a rest, but had the ref ruled it legal he would've got up found a way to survive. He didn't achieve all he has both amateur and pro, on a deck damn near always stacked against him or at worst on an even one, without being super tough and resilient :facepalm:

He flop to sell the low blow so he acted like he was in a world of pain. No different than a floop in a soccer match where the guy is at deaths door but up and running if they bring out stretcher to take him out is game.

He wouldn't have made the count. But for those who try with "nothing suggests he wouldn't have made it" - well, nothing suggests he would've been able to do or take anything after making the count. The entire thing is to make the right decision which the referee did not for a second time, again in Usyk's favour.

Usyk would have gotten up and beat the count.

Froch discusses this in the video below. In the first few minutes.

Froch points out that as soon as Usyk went down, the ref indicated to him it was a low blow (by not starting the count and by waving his arms for "no knockdown"). And then Froch says had Usyk seen that he was getting a count (that the blow was called legal), he would have gotten up and beaten the count.

Confidence is high. 98% yup. Usyk beats the count, defends a little bit and then continues the beating in the next round. In the end Dubois gives up.

I believe he would have been on his feet at the count of 9 since he was always conscious, but in such bad shape that Dubois would have been able to finish him in the nearly 2 1/2 minutes left in the round.

He would have gotten up. Almost always when someone stays down from a body shot it's because they know they're going to lose anyway. If you're hell bent on getting up, you will.

I think he gets up, he’s a strong willed fighter, but it would have given Dubios a lot of confidence and we all know that his only way of winning that fight would have been pure confidence to drive forward and attack regardless of what was coming back.

Clearly low. Learn the rules, doesn't have to be a direct hit on the sack. Pelvic area. Even if it was ruled a KD Usyk would have gathered himself & beat the count had the ref started counting.
