Valero's been dead for 12 hours so it is time for one of these threads.

Pacquiao may fight like an animal at times, but Valero was an inhumane savage beast. In reality, Valero's recent behavior prior to this weekend's disgusting events had eliminated himself from any meaningful fights in the near term. I think Top Rank should have disassociated themselves from this guy upon hearing about the "stairs" incident.

In hindsight, I now wish Arum would have fed Valero to Pacquiao at some point over the past couple years. I believe before Pacquiao landed the DLH fight, that Valero was a serious frontrunner for that fight. Maybe Pacman could have rattled that already damaged brain some more and all of this could have been prevented.

Valero might've killed PAc. In the end, the coward might've brought a knife into the ring, and tried to off PAc if he got hit by a good PAc punch...

He would have been smashed by Manny. It's a blessing that Ed's career ended before having to face Manny. So his legacy will be filled with "what if's".....Ed has a punchers chance but little much else to beat a guy like Manny. It's better to have that little chance than nothing at all which for most guys pacs size have NO great equalizers like Ed had wiht his pwer.

I would've defended Valero from this absurd, pathetic outlook, but he's dead so...

Yea......I know you would have. You aren't the sharpest tool in the shed but at least you are consistant. In all seriousness......I'm actually sad to see ED go....more sad for his terrible acts against his wife. But it seems that the head injury had some effects that may have caused him to go crazy. I think Ed had a very bright future ahead of him with his power and ability.....but Manny still would have smashed Ed.

I heard about the Morales sparring that he was kicking his ass. I encourage people to watch the Angulo sparring, he was dominating him, so much quicker and sharper. I think he might have been on a Pacquio level (dont know about the chin though) but we will never know.
