See ... this is the kind of nonsense I'm talking about.

No. He wasn't. He was medium-quick to slightly faster. Nothing special, speed-wise.

Yes, but in both good and bad ways; ways which the elite would punish him for.

Puh-lease. He went beyond the 6th round exactly four times, only two of which were against semi-decent fighters and he looked half-gassed and increasingly gas-ing after the fifth both times. Mouth hanging open like a gasping fish. Again, the elites would have taken him into deep water and drowned him.

    This is true.

Only in the sense of "more than he'd shown previously (i.e. very little)", not really in terms of "any great skill".

He was a banging warrior with good KO power and aggression who had potential and was just about to start fighting elite competition. Giving him any more credit than that is just wish-fulfillment.

He was a pretty good fighter and I would put him to win against some big names out there.

This is a boxing forum, not a goddamn memorial service. If you're that concerned, find an address and donate your money to his kids and STFU. Jerkoff.

I always felt that the higher the weight the worse it would have been for Valero. At lightweight the fight would have been nice but after seeing the type of mindset he had after the weekends events and the way he handled DeMarco with that vagina on his forehead, he fought like a madman and had mad balls and was basically crazy as **** so my opinion about the fight is a bit different know

pac still beats him but i think bot as easy as i thought

  5. Who cares? Valero's sparring with Satan now.

It is a boxing forum indeed so have some respect for the family of an ex boxer. He might have been a tit towards the end but his kids don't deserve to have disrespectful arseholes like you spouting filth like that.

In a boxing forum you can talk about all boxing related topics... correct????????

Is this not boxing related? being as it pertains to an ex boxer.

You hear people discussing silly fantasy match ups all the time which have no relevance to current boxing issues.

So with that said, perhaps it is you that should get on your bike.

Valero wouldn't have lasted more than 3 rounds with Pacquiao.

Hell No. Pac would violate this dude. Valero can punch but he cant box. Pac would have him out before he even got near him.

I can't believe so many people would think this fight would have been competitive. Pacquiao would have knocked Valero out in less than 3 rounds, if that.

He could have been a great prospect to beat Manny Pacquiao, not until he messed up his life. What a waste of talent.
