Would durable giant Nikolay Valuev last the distance against a prime Lennox Lewis? Or would Lennox force a stoppage?

Big men made Lewis go for the knockout early, Grant, Golota, Vitali, that was a very different Lewis then when he fought Holyfield, Tua or Tyson. He probably would exploit Valuev's limitations and land bombs on him early, knowing that he could always change his style and turn it into a boxing match. I take Lewis by mid - round KO.

Lewis would KO Valuev within 6 rounds. Lewis has the mass, foot work, punch, defensive skills in order to get within range and then comfortably land a bunch of devastating shots.

The Giant would not know what hit him. By round three, Valuev would realize he's in over his massive head. A stoppage will occur soon thereafter.

Tua was short though, he kept dodging and held his chin very low in order not to be caught by Lennox' uppcuts.

I think Valuev would have a much harder time avoiding Lennox bombs. No guarentee he'd go down but out of the HW fighters of the last 10 years Lennox is one of the few who I'd give a decent chance of knocking out Valuev.

I'm highly doubtfull that Lewis could K.O. the giant Nico. Motorhead said it best, a jabbing contest.

This is a silly tread, OF COURSE LEWIS WOULD KNOCK HIM OUT. Valuev was nearly beaten by a host of has-beens and straight out bums. Plus Lewis always went for the KO with taller fighters.

I would put my house (and everyone's who I know) on Lewis by KO. Early.

Valuev hasn't really been badly hurt by anyone, but what punchers has he faced?

Chagaev - could barely put a dent in Matt Skelton and embarrassed himself against Wlad.

Holyfield - can't pull the trigger anymore.

    Ruiz - erm...... no.

Lewis would KO him easily, Lewis would get to him easily and then land bombs until he was out of them

Valuev actually has a hell of a chin...and because of his height and size, Lewis would have trouble getting everything on his punches like he did against others. Others have made it the distance...I cant see why Valuev wouldnt.

I mean, he wouldnt win a round vs Lennox, but he could last 12.

Not a chance. In fact, I don't think he'd go the distance with either Klitschko.

If you really look at who he's fought, the Valuev management team has been very careful not to match him up with any big punchers...which is why I don't understand when people say he has a granite chin. How exactly do you know? Which big puncher has he fought? The iron-fisted John Ruiz, who I believe has kayoed 1 fighter in four years? How about the huge punching grandfather of 4 Evander Holyfield? Gimme a break. Valuev is has never fough a big puncher, which means his chin is essentially untested.

How do you know he has a great chin? Which big punchers has he fought? While you think, I'll save you some time...the answer is none.

Valuev has been wobbled... but I think Lewis takes some feel out rounds too to deal with the size and reach.

It would probably be a later round TKO when he starts to get it right and land with ease on valuev.

Not a chance. Vitali has a much better jab that Valuev and he couldn't keep Lewis on the outside. Lewis would muscle his way in and land one or two big uppercuts...then Nico would go back to the cave.
