Would Vitali K. be as passive / cautious against Dave Haye as Wlad was??

I will add that Wlad Klit was a wee bit cautious with Haye last week, but no way was he a grabber........... Haye was a flopper........ Haye kept hitting the floor was a sign of pussying out........

Wlad was passive? I must have missed that. I was watching the fight where Wlad was chasing Haye around the ring, pressuring, attacking about as much as possibly without overdoing it and making himself look foolish. Wlad could only deal with what Haye was giving him. You can't really go all out against a guy who is running the way that Haye did. Only a sucker would get frustrated and run in like a caveman with no boxing talent.

Vlad was chasing Haye round the ring. Vitali would have knocked him out because Vitali is more aggressive.

This really isn't fair at all. Alot of fans approximations of Davids skills have increased since the fight. Yes he failed to win but he wasn't disgraced and seemed to trouble Wlad more than any opponent in years. How many other contenders in the division can say that?

No matter how much you dislike him you cannot deny that if he doesn't retire he is a top shelf contender and if it wasn't for the Klits then who knows where he'd be?

You are wrong Bill. Two completely different styles. Haye is a puncher, to be more clear he is a counter puncher. He has a low workrate and throws single powerful punches. Haye doesnt move much in the ring, he does more body balance and dukcing punches in order to land the huge counterpunch.

Adamek on the other hand is in a constant movement and has a high workrate. He barely throws single punches. He puts the punches together and throws a lot more combinations than Haye (mainly to the body). Even when he throws jab, he often doube and triple and sometimes even quadriple it.

Yeah, but work-rate generally goes out the door after one gets tagged early and often in a fight... Instead of punching like he's suppose to, a man getting hit generally goes on the defense and resorts to running---if he can run.... Especially if the man getting hit is a "boxer" in style...... Adamek can move very well around a 20 X 20 ring... That much we all know.... Plus he has good boxing skills... That too we all know.... BUT! Let's see what his punch output is like after he tastes some V.K. leather....... V.K. has a unique way of making dude's go on the retreat....

As for Haye, well, he ran and winged some haymakers at Wlad in between his canvas flops....... I hope to Amon Ra that Adamek doesn't pull any of that "flopping" to the canvas horse****....

Actually Grant landed a big punch on Adamek and cut Adamek's face by his elbows, and still Adamek was keeping the workrate high

As I worte above, Grant was using the elbows in the clinches and Adamek was still doing his job. The same was against McBride, where Kevin was holding Adamek's head with his left hand and punching using the right hand. Referee deducted McBride a point for fouling, but that wasnt after Adamek reacted to the referee. It was referee trying to save the event, as it was ugly when McBride was using his size and strength only to foul Adamek.

I think everyone can agree that haye took nowhere near enough punishment for him to be considered damaged by the wlad fight. In all reality if vitali beats adamek then haye is the best available opponent for vitali.

To the ts, well bill my man, I think vitali hates david. I think he still feels some familial responsibility for the way he mocked his little brother. I think vitali wants to punish haye, not defeat him in the ring, but plain beat him up. So I think he wouldn't pressure him with size like wlad did, I think he'd pressure him with punches from the off.

My only concern for vitali would be we all saw how he struggled with the defence of byrd, can haye move his head that quick? After the wlad fight and considering vitali's decline I might say yes proportionally speaking. If vitali goes all guns blazing and starts missing wild shots we could well see a shoulder injury return. Obviously he's matured and learnt from that fight but could he keep his cool now even at age 40 after the way haye acted?

We saw him lay back on the power shots against kingpin so he can adjust in that way, but something tells me he wouldn't be content with a points victory. He'd want to pound on haye until someone saves him.

Now medical issues aren't my speciality so I don't know what the danger is of a recurrence of his rotator cuff tearing, but surely him throwing bombs and haye dodging and weaving away would increase the chances?

No because he hates Haye and wants to see him on the canvas.
It has nothing to do with boredom or money, Vitali is a mean guy.

The worst one was when he entered his illiterate/gangsta text phase, it was unbearable!
