This "fight at home" **** is moronic and it disturbs me to see it passed from nutthugger to nutthugger like some sort of alien virus. I've never heard the cliche "locations make fights"? I mean if it helps you sleep better at night to tell yourself this, hey do what you do, but the fact of the matter is it wouldn't matter where they fought Ward is simply better.

 

You realize the British Judge actually had the fight the widest at 10-2 right?

People are really talking themselves into believeing Carl Froch has a chance in his hometown..

Honestly Ward has faced him before.. knows his weakness, will improve upon his last performace.. this logic is based off of Ward adapts Well in the ring..

Carl is not interested this fight.. His fans are trying to boost his stock after a great win over Bute... Lets not get ahead of ourselves Froch Fans.. If he takes your advice and fights Ward anywhere on the Planet he gets Beat.. simple as that...

I don't think there is any chance of Ward coming to the U.K, none. Home advantage not always does but almost certainly can help a fighter, hence the lack of US Champs travelling.

Firstly, fighting at home does have it's advantages, it is irrefutable.

Secondly, Froch has stated he wants to avenge his loss to Ward.

Thirdly, Froch's trainer who is recognised as a genuine no-nonsense down-to-earth guy has stated last night that "things weren't right" in Atlantic City.

Would be interesting for Ward to come to the U.K and prove he can beat Froch anywhere but deep down we all know that sort of move would be deemed "too risky" for a US Champ. :deal

The question is not of the judges (I scored froch-dirrell even and with the point deduction had it a win for Froch) but the fans

I honestly think the atmosphere intimidated Bute to the point where he couldnt do anything right and when he felt Carls power he was just a rabbit in the headlights

The main question is whether Andre Ward would buckle under the pressure in Nottingham? and just out of curiosity, imagine what Mayweather V Hatton would have been like in Manchester?

Not trying to insinuate that either result would be different but it is an interesting factor to consider
